This place is an instagrammable haven located in Barangay Kumaliskis in Don Salvador Benedicto, an hour long scenic drive along winding mountainous road from Bacolod City. Tagged as one of Don Salvador Benedicto Tourists Spots and Don Salvador Benedicto Hotel, Jomax Peak is every inch an instagram worthy and the new chilly haven in Negros Occidental.

Similar to Tagaytay, the chilly winds, the spectacluar scene with the sea of clouds, a gust of wind and blasts of cold air swept down from the mountains and an awesome mountain view and paired with the unlimited native coffee from the place is the best relaxing escape from the hustling bustling city life.

The Place as a whole offers a place of relaxation for everyone. From the Picnic ground, their mini pool, the beautiful lush garden up to the Pavilion, the place fits any occasion, be it a family gatherings, birthdays, your pre-nup location or even your dream outdoor wedding! The breathtaking view from sunrise down to sunset is a priceless, natural setting.

Best to visit in the morning and be awe with view of Mt. Kanlaon (an active stratovolcano in Negros Island) and the majestic Malatan-og Falls. Adventure seekers will surely be delighted. Overlooking from their famous balcony, you can see mini rice terraces. Alight a little more and be charmed with the mountain ranges. Soak your eyes in Nature’s green and blue hues. Solely a Picnic and Camping ground, it is highly recommended to bring your own foods but the place has it’s own grilling for us to use and it’s free of charge, very convenient, right? If you decide to stay overnight, they have tents and mats for you to rent. With it’s affordability, Jomax Peak is one worth trying experience.

How to make a reservation for Jomax Peak

The place is available for reservation only. Walk in guest not allowed. So better check their official facebook page for date availability and further announcements and be sure to make transactions only on their official page. You can rent a specific area with other visitors or rent exclusively the whole place for Php 6000 good for 40 persons. Entrance fee is at Php150/head with access to all structures.

Jomax Peak is open from 8am-4pm. Overnight camp starts at 8pm with a different rate. No WIFI in the area so get ready to connect with nature and bond with family & friends and it will promise you a more better connection and stable nature connectedness.

P.S. The calming view while sipping from a cup of coffee from the locals will help you de-stress and loosen up a little bit and ward off some negative vibes. Finding some inner peace is best here.
